The souvlakis were terrific and everyone thought Philip had prepared them and the Greek burgers himself along with barbequing them. You should have seen the beam on his face. Bless him. I must admit I didn’t quibble when people were complimenting me about the tirokafteri, tzatziki and the other dishes. But I had to hold up my hands eventually when they asked me how I made the delicious dolmades. It was all great fun and thank you again.’
And Katy and her five girlfriends from London who rented a New Town flat in Edinburgh for the weekend and decided to have a small dinner party before hitting the city centre:
